Eastern Hancock High School is proud to announce that nominations are now open for the Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame recognizes Eastern Hancock alumni whose lives and accomplishments reflect outstanding achievement, leadership, service, and character. It is an opportunity to celebrate graduates who have made a meaningful impact through their careers, their communities, and their continued connection to others.
This year offers a special opportunity to look back at Eastern Hancock’s long history and the alumni who have helped shape its legacy. Robert Bell will mark 90 years since his graduation, while Mike Crider will celebrate 50 years since graduating — milestones that remind us just how many generations of remarkable people have called Eastern Hancock home.
Last year’s Distinguished Alumni honorees demonstrated the many different ways our graduates continue to make an impact.
Jeff Muegge, owner of Blue River Research Services, has built a successful and innovative animal science business while providing employment, mentorship, and real-world learning opportunities for Eastern Hancock students. He is also the organizer of the Lisa Muegge Feast of Plenty, an annual community effort that provides Thanksgiving meals to families throughout Hancock County.
Dr. Michael Hardy has built an accomplished career in veterinary medicine and currently serves as Chief of Science for the Horseracing Integrity and Welfare Unit, bringing his expertise to the health, safety, and welfare of equine athletes.
Now, we need your help identifying the next Eastern Hancock alumni whose stories deserve to be celebrated.
Think about the EH graduates you know. Who has distinguished themselves through their career? Who has served their community? Who has been a leader, innovator, mentor, or role model? Their accomplishments may have taken them around the world — or their greatest impact may have happened right here at home.
Nominate them for the Eastern Hancock High School Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame.
Nominations are due January 15, 2027. The nomination form asks nominators to share information about the candidate’s accomplishments, leadership, role-model qualities, career or avocation, volunteerism, character, and citizenship.
